Fry Your Food Better with Deep Fryer
A great device for preparing fried chicken, French fries or any foods that should be submerged in hot oil or fat is a deep fry. It is equipped with a deep cooking vessel with a mesh container or removable grill and it is very easy to perform. All you have to do is to simply put the food on the grill and immerse it into the heated oil. Besides, there is an option to cover the lid while cooking the food, like turkey fryers.
Different types of Deep Fryers
Deep fryers appear in various types, from separate units to those combined with cooking ranges. Also, they work by either using gas or electric. The gas deep fryer runs with natural gas or LPG. Its burners are running through the oil or located outside the pot thus preventing the flavor of your food from being dissolved into the oil. What’s more, it can reduce too much browning on the food.
On the other hand, the electric deep fryer uses electricity for generating heat. It can directly heat the oil by submerging the heating elements into the liquid. However, with this type of a deep fryer it is necessary to filter it frequently in order to prevent blockage and remove the leftovers.
Choosing your deep fryer
Before deciding to buy a deep fryer, it is essential to consider the material type they are made of and also how much they can handle. If you want to use items that are prepared fast, such as chips and fries, choose an aluminum deep fryer because of its capability to heat up and cool down quickly in order to prevent overcooking. For larger meats and cuts, use a copper or a stainless steel model.
How much can it handle?
Your deep fryer needs to have a big fry pot for cooking huge amounts of food. On the other hand, take a mini deep fryer model if you are not planning to use it frequently, or if it is going to serve your personal use. It is very suitable because it requires less maintenance and can hold around 3 cups of oil.
